Mind Mapp Privacy Policy

Mind Mapp is provided by JDCL Coaching ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information Mind Mapp collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address (for email sign-in) or basic profile information provided by Google or Apple (for sign-in with Google or Apple). You can also use Mind Mapp as a guest without creating an account; in that case we don't collect any identifying account information until you choose to create one.

Content you create. As you use the programme, we store the journal entries, goal-setting answers, and task responses you enter, along with your progress through the programme's modules. This information is private to your account — we don't share it with other users, and it isn't visible to anyone but you.

Purchase information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processing partner (RevenueCat, working with Apple's App Store or Google Play) handles your payment details directly — we never see or store your card details. We do store which plan you're subscribed to and your purchase/subscription status, so the app can unlock the right content for you.

Usage information. We collect basic information about how you use the app, such as which modules and tasks you've completed, so your progress is saved and can sync across your devices.

How We Use This Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide and maintain your account and your access to programme content

  • Save your progress, journal entries, and goals so they're there when you come back

  • Process and manage your subscription

  • Fix bugs and improve the app

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Third-Party Services We Use

Mind Mapp is built using the following third-party services, which process data on our behalf solely to provide the app's functionality:

  • Firebase (Google) — authentication, and secure storage of your account and content data.

  • RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and purchases, working with Apple's App Store (and Google Play, for Android users).

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their specific function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely and protected so that only you can access your own account information, journal entries, goals, and progress. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.

Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time directly within the app (Profile → Delete Account). This permanently removes your profile, journal entries, goals, progress, and task responses from our systems.

If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate information, or to ask us to delete your information outside of the in-app deletion option. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

Mind Mapp is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll make that clear within the app or on this page.
